Geraint Osborne of Kudos Hairdressing in Pontyclun in Wales was chosen to go to London to attend a mentorship programme with Goldwell for Colourzoom 2014 where he worked with Mark Leeson and Terri Kay to learn the latest trends and techniques.
“It was great to pick up on the latest techniques in preparation for my model entry deadline where we shoot our own images,” said Geraint.
Mark Leeson, Terri Kay and managing director Richard Darby were joined by fashion stylist Bernard Connolly and make up artist Lauren Mathis to provide a master class on achieving a great shoot, focussing on face shape, focal points, model outfits and angles.
“After wrapping the final image I was asked by the team if I would like to go on a shoot the following weekend and be part of a very important shoot Mark and the team was doing as part of their award entry for the British Hairdressing Awards. I was thrilled to be asked and to work alongside the team was a dream come true,” said Geraint.
Said Mark: “It is always a great pleasure to pass on our knowledge to the next generation of hairdressing talent. Geraint showed such enthusiasm and interest in the work and we were delighted to have him with us on our shoot in London. I wish the very best and believe he has a bright future in hairdressing.”
