Mark Leeson was celebrated for his outstanding achievement and services to hairdressing recently at the NHF Central England Hairdressing Awards 2012, when he was presented with a Hall of Fame Inductee Award.
The prestigious NHF Hall of Fame recognises some of the greatest names in the industry, and this year Mark was added to the exclusive list.
The NHF has played a significant role in Mark’s hairdressing career, and in his early days he was a regular on the NHF competition circuit – travelling all over the world representing Great Britain. “I have won many awards in my career, but this one is particularly special because it is where I began. Being here tonight brings back a lot of happy memories and it is a huge honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame,” he said.
The event was held at Villa Park – home to Aston Villa FC – and attracted 250 NHF members from around the country, including hairdressing legend Trevor Sorbie. The glittering award ceremony was hosted by celebrity Lee Stafford and included a stunning hair show by former British Hairdresser of the Year, Beverly C.
