2011 and 2012 British Hairdresser of the Year nominee, Mark Leeson, is one of the UK's most respected hairdressers and is renowned for his stunning creative work and ability to educate, inspire and motivate.
He has won an endless list of awards, and winning the Eastern Hairdresser of the Year award three times at the British Hairdressing awards, has provided him with a place amongst hairdressings elite in the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame. Mark's passion for colour also netted him the coveted title of Professional Colour Technician of the Year 2007/8 &emdash; proving he really is the King of Colour!
Known for producing the most beautiful and striking collections, Mark has a reputation for possessing the finest finishing skills in the industry. To Mark, education is paramount and sharing his knowledge, ideas and skills, is in his opinion, what allows Britain to keep its well deserved reputation of being the best hairdressing industry in the world.

Shaun Hall
Art Director Shaun Hall is widely recognised in the hairdressing circuit for his creativity and artistic flair. He’s been with Mark Leeson since 2003 since completing his training at the salon, and now has a waiting list of clients seeking his expertise. Sean won Newcomer of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards in 2009 and regularly joins Mark on his photographic shoots and hairdressing tours around the globe.
2012 has been an eventful year for Shaun when he flew to Australia to shoot his stunning Eastern Hairdresser of the Year collection, which has gained him a place in the final of the British Hairdressing Awards – placing him as one of the greatest hairdressers in the region.
Richard Darby
Richard Darby is the managing director of Mark Leeson Hair Body and Mind and is the driving force behind this thriving salon.
Richard deals with all HR issues, accounts, staffing, marketing, recruitment, and generally directing business and strategically planning the company’s future.
Richard has a keen eye for photographic work and art directs Mark Leeson’s photo shoots – something which the company has become renowned for within the hairdressing industry.
Terri Kay
Salon Manager Terri Kay has worked closely with Mark Leeson throughout her career having trained at the same salon as Mark. She has been part of the Mark Leeson team since 2002 and works tirelessly as the Manager. Terri is a greatly respected hairdresser in her own right and has a long list of awards and accolades to her name, including three-times winner of Eastern Hairdresser of the Year. "My ambition has always been to get into the Hall of Fame for Eastern Hairdresser of the Year and I have now achieved that. It's an incredible feeling and I Still can't quite believe it."
Jessica Hawley
Stylist Jessica has been with Mark Leeson for four years, quickly gaining a loyal clientele. During this time, Jessica has been personally trained by Mark Leeson and assisted the salon's artistic team on many photoshoots, seminars and shows. One of the salons most sought-after stylists, Jessica has already gained a promotion since qualifying.
Abbey Haynes
Graduate Stylist Abbey Haynes is the newest member of Mark Leeson's stylist team. She has been trained by Mark Leeson and has proved an integral part of the team for the last three years. An extremely competent stylist, Abbey is qualified in all aspects of hairdressing.
Louise Leiper
Louise is one of Mark Leeson's senior art directors and has been with the company over eight years. Louise has a natural passion and flair for hair and is also one of the salons colour and long hair specialists. When Louise isn't working her magic in the salon, she loves spending time with her two young children and catching up with her friends and family.
Ria McCabe
Artistic Director Ria McCabe joined the team in 2004 when she was personally trained by Mark Leeson. She's completed her NVQ level 2 and Goldwell's Colour Degree course. Ria is part of the salons' art team and loves nothing more than working on a new collection with her peers. When she's not hairdressing she likes spending time with family and friends in Mansfield, however making her clients smile with her fantastic transformations is what keeps her passion for hairdressing alive. "I would love the artistic team to win an award at the British Hairdressing Awards and to be widely recognised for our creativity," she says.
Liam Crooks
Liam Crooks is one of Mark Leeson's protégés and is now an Artistic Stylist in the salon. Liam's infectious personality combined with his first-class hairdressing skills make him a big hit with clients and staff alike. "I not only love working with Mark on shows and shoots, but I really enjoy working in the salon and making people feel good about themselves," explains Liam.
Joseph I’Anson
Artistic Stylist Joseph I’Anson has been hairdressing since he left school and had only one vision of where he wanted to train and work – at the Mark Leeson salon. He is now in-demand for his beautiful cut and colour work and loves nothing more than transforming his clients and creating stunning hair. When he’s not working in the salon, Joseph enjoys socialising with his friends and experimenting on block heads to create the next season’s hottest looks.
Helen Elliott
Helen Elliott is one of the salons long-term team members having joined in 2001. She's are very own Art Director and has achieved the Goldwell Colour Degree – making her one of the salons colour experts. Helen has always dreamed of being a hairdresser and loves meeting new clients and being part of such a thriving salon.
Jodie Hurt
Jodie Hurt is an Artistic Director at Mark Leeson and has been part of the team since completing her training and NVQ's at the salon. Following her training by Mark Leeson, she has also completed Goldwell's Master Colour Degree and is recognised for her exceptional colour work. Jodie loves shadowing Mark Leeson and is keen to work her way up the career ladder at the salon, and wants to show the world her creative skills by one day entering hairdressing awards.

Laura Hill
Beauty Manager Laura has been with the salon since 2005 and is responsible for ensuring that their beauty services equal the exceptional hairdressing.
Laura's client care, knowledge, discretion and passion for all things beauty is a testament to her loyal clientele. Laura is qualified to the highest standards and ensures all services delivered in the salon reflect this.
Elle Horton
Senior Beauty Therapist Elle has been with the salon for just over a year after gaining training and experience in a leading day spa. Her calming, caring approach matched with first-class delivery of treatments has gained Elle a growing clientele. She thrives on meeting clients and making them feel special and pampered in the luxurious surroundings of the Mark Leeson beauty rooms.
